José Mourinho reveals why he is ‘angry’ with Real Madrid squad

Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho has this week admitted that he is often left frustrated by the sheer amount of talent at his disposal in Spain’s capital.

Mourinho’s Real are of course in the midst of a stellar run of form at present, fresh off making it seven wins from seven across all competitions on Wednesday.

With the club’s host of summer additions now fully embedded in boss Mourinho’s setup, Los Blancos suddenly look like a collective unit, rather than an XI of highly-talented individuals.

Amid ongoing rotation in Real’s line-up, more and more players are now playing important roles, with the likes of Yan Diomandé and Bernardo Silva thriving.

And yet, it is precisely the level of quality at his disposal which at times leaves the aforementioned Mourinho ‘angry’ with his squad.

Speaking during an exchange with the media this week, Real Madrid’s headmaster admitted:

“It makes me angry how many great players I have that I can’t play or start every game!”
