Rahul and Shetty first met through mutual friends in February 2019 and initially kept their relationship away from the spotlight.

They later made their red-carpet debut at the premiere of Ahan Shetty’s Tadap in late 2021 before getting married on January 23, 2023, in an intimate ceremony at Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala. Shetty has also regularly supported Rahul during his cricketing commitments, travelling to several domestic and international matches during his career.

KL Rahul ends ODI series with sensational unbeaten 129

Rahul had limited opportunities during the three-match ODI series against the West Indies. He was not required to bat in the first two games as India successfully chased down their targets, but he made the most of his chance in the third ODI. Coming to the crease after the dismissal of a well-set Rohit Sharma, Rahul initially steadied India’s innings before shifting gears during the latter stages.

He smashed a career-best unbeaten 129 off just 87 deliveries, with 10 fours and six sixes. The innings marked Rahul’s ninth ODI century and also saw him cross the 10,000-run mark in international cricket across formats, making it a memorable outing before his brief break from international duties.
