La Liga giants Real Madrid have been made aware of the kind of sum with which they would be forced to part to land Rayan Cherki from Manchester City.
This comes as those in a position of power in Spain’s capital continue to keep a close eye on the situation of the Frenchman.
Speculation surrounding the entirety of Enzo Maresca’s star-studded Man City squad has of course been rampant across the European media for several weeks now.
After the Sky Blues were found guilty of a whole host of financial breaches by the Premier League, they are likely facing up to a monumental punishment, including potential relegation.
In the case of as much, the club’s star performers would be expected to seek departures, with Real Madrid one of a number of top clubs monitoring the situation, ready to pounce.
As per a report from Fichajes, citing CaughtOffside:
‘PSG and Real Madrid are the clubs showing the most interest in signing Rayan Cherki. Manchester City will demand €90 million from any club wishing to sign Cherki.’
