Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has this week secured for himself a prestigious individual accolade.
This comes amid confirmation that the German has beaten out the competition to the award for La Liga Coach of the Year 2025/26.
Flick’s Barcelona are of course fresh off an exceptional campaign on the domestic front.
After spending much of the term battling it out with arch rivals Real Madrid for table-topping status, the Blaugrana ultimately stormed clear en route to a 2nd successive La Liga title.
When all was said and done, despite taking their foot off the gas with the title already wrapped up, the Catalans put a hefty 94 points on the board.
And as alluded to above, the role played by Barca’s headmaster en route to as much has not gone at all overlooked in Spain.
As per a statement across La Liga’s official website and social media platforms on Wednesday:
‘Hansi Flick has been named LALIGA EA SPORTS Coach of the Year for the 2025/2026 season.’
