Formula 1 cars are among the world’s fastest-moving billboards, and each team has a brand identity and a roster of partners that crave maximum exposure for their part of real estate. Occasionally a team deviates from their regular scheme, and that’s the case for Haas this weekend, who will sport a special Godzilla livery at the United States Grand Prix to promote the new Godzilla Minus Zero movie.
Ahead of the VF-26 running on track at the Circuit of The Americas, we caught up with the team to take a look at how a one-off livery on an F1 car comes to life.
“Whenever we look at brand collaborations it has to be a cultural fit with who we are as a team,” explains Francois Puentes, Motorsport Partnerships and Marketing Leader at Haas.
