Opening batter Brian Bennett offered brief resistance with a brisk 32 off 19 balls, but once Yash Thakur dismissed him in the 4th over, the Zimbabwean batting line-up collapsed like a house of cards.
Prince Yadav (2/10) dealt double blows, removing Ben Curran (15) and skipper Sikandar Raza for a 3-ball duck, leaving the hosts reeling at 49/4. Ravi Bishnoi spun a web through the middle overs, clean-bowling Dion Myers (12) and finishing with super-frugal figures of 1/20 in his 4 overs. While Tadiwanashe Marumani (24) and Ryan Burl (20) tried to re-anchor, the pressure proved too intense.
