The fifth T20I between New Zealand and India will be played at Seddon Park in Hamilton on Sunday, November 1. India have already secured the series, but New Zealand will look to finish strongly after winning the fourth T20I by 87 runs at Eden Park, Auckland. The match begins at 12:30 PM IST.
Seddon Park Pitch Report
The Seddon Park pitch is generally considered favourable for batters. The surface offers consistent bounce, allowing stroke-makers to play through the line, while the relatively short boundaries provide opportunities to score quickly.
Batters who settle in can build substantial innings, but bowlers who vary their pace and maintain accurate lines can still make an impact. Seamers may find some movement early in the innings, making the powerplay a crucial phase.
Spinners could play an important role in the middle overs by controlling the scoring rate and forcing batters to take risks. Overall, Seddon Park should offer an entertaining contest, with a competitive first-innings total likely to be around 175–185 runs.
