The identity of La Liga giants Barcelona’s favoured signing to reinforce the club’s right-back ranks has this weekend been revealed.
This comes amid confirmation that the Blaugrana have identified Pedro Porro as something of a ‘dream’ addition to Hansi Flick’s defensive setup.
It is of course common knowledge at this point that the transfer team at the Spotify Camp Nou are in search of fresh blood at right-back. With Jules Koundé out of favour and João Cancelo being utilised on the left, Barca find themselves in need of a new option on the right.
A whole host of names, in turn, have been tipped as potential arrivals in Catalunya’s capital, potentially as soon as January.
And as alluded to above, late this week, the name of the ‘dream’ Blaugrana addition has been revealed. The info comes courtesy of Mundo Deportivo, who report:
‘The dream full-back is Spanish international Pedro Porro, from Tottenham.’ It is also noted, though:
‘At the moment, it’s very difficult to imagine Porro joining Barça in the winter transfer window. Porro would be more of an option for the summer transfer window.’
